Character that follows the signal
The nonlinear filter core adds level-dependent harmonic colour. Its response changes with the signal, giving resonant sweeps texture and character as you shape the sound.

A filter earns its place by how it sounds when you move it. Syndicate Filter puts Cytomic’s nonlinear filter DSP behind a direct, playable interface: rich character, expressive resonance and a width control that opens up more ways to shape a sweep.
Cytomic is the developer behind The Glue and The Drop, known for its work in analogue modelling. Here, the focus is a dedicated DJ-style filter: immediate control, with serious processing underneath.
The nonlinear filter core adds level-dependent harmonic colour. Its response changes with the signal, giving resonant sweeps texture and character as you shape the sound.
Control smoothing and sample-by-sample coefficient interpolation keep parameter changes continuous. Cutoff, width and resonance are built to move together, whether you turn a knob or write automation.
The filter runs its internal calculations in 64-bit double precision, giving the nonlinear core extra numerical precision before the processed audio returns to your host.
Width brings the high-pass and low-pass stages together to narrow the pass band. Add resonance, then sweep that focused shape through a track. One set of controls covers broad transitions and tighter tonal effects.
No mode switching. Cutoff, width and resonance work together, with every control right in front of you.
Turn left for low-pass, right for high-pass. With width fully open, the centre lets the track through. Move from a subtle trim to a full sweep with one control.
Narrow the pass band to focus the sound, or open it up to let more through. Width works with cutoff and resonance, giving a familiar filter sweep another dimension.
Add emphasis around the filter without changing your cutoff or width. The smaller control stays within reach, with resonance available across the full range of both.
Nonlinear processing creates new harmonics. Oversampling runs the filter at a higher sample rate to help reduce the aliasing those harmonics can produce. Choose native rate, 2X or 4X to balance the sound with your session’s processing budget.
The plugin reports its selected latency to the host.
Oversampling
Write cutoff, width and resonance into your DAW. Parameter settings are saved with the project, ready for the next session.
Double-click a knob, or click its lit label, to reset that control. Keep moving without hunting through menus.
Host bypass crossfades over 5 ms while the filter stays warm, making the switch back to the dry signal smooth.
Resize the interface to suit your workspace. All three controls and the oversampling selector stay visible together.
